When you hear the word castle you probably think of royalty, large building, and something beautiful.

Google Dictionary of castle: A large building or group of buildings fortified against attack with thick walls, battlements and towers.

I want our home to be a castle. Not large in the way most the world thinks of castles but large in that it can hold lots of love and people. I want our house to be fortified against attacks from evil. My husband and his friend used to joke about the castle of Hassell. But I want to make it a reality... here is our story.

Adam- Graduated from PA school in Phoenix. He loves bowling, skiing, hiking, being with family, golfing, and watching the news. Adam makes the best cookies ever. If you ever got treats from our house chances are he made them.


Alyse (me!)- stay at home mom and graduated from BYU-Idaho in July 2011 with an exercise science degree. I love to create, run, dance, play games, snowboard, hike, spend time with family and friends. I'm totally into simplifying life and living it to its fullest.
